2009 Bentley Brooklands

Posted on May 11th, 2008 by admin

Bentley has always manufactured big and fast automobiles and the 2009 Bentley Brooklands isn’t any different. This beast of a machine is 213 inches long (a little short of 17 feet), weighs 5853 lbs and has a 6.75 liter V-8 motor under its hood. The top speed for the Brooklands is a whopping 185 mph! The car is so huge, it makes its standard 20″ rims look like 18″ rims. The interior will consist of polished walnut consoles, fully leather seats and lining throughout the car and stainless steel trims.

Yes, this car has a mean engine, and a lot of cool add-on’s, but at its starting price of $341,000, the Brookland does appear to be a little over priced. But again, anyone even considering a purchase of the Brookland, has the money to burn and it’s all about the status. As many famed celebrities on MTV’s Cribs have stated, ‘you ain’t ballin until you own a Bentley’.

2009 Bentley Brooklands Specs

  • 550 HP 6.75 liter twin-turbo V8
  • 774 lb-ft of tire-melting torque
  • 5800 lb curb weight
  • Base price: $340,990

Nissan Skyline GT-R

Posted on December 22nd, 2007 by admin

For the years, the Nissan Skyline GT-R has been legendary in all parts of the world. The fist production of the GT-R started in 1969 and continued into the 90’s where it hit its peak popularity. Since then, the Skyline GT-R has been an icon in the performance automotive world, even being featured in blockbuster movies like Fast and the Furious. When you hear GT-R, you think of the king of all performance cars. For years, the U.S. and it’s strict smog and emissions regulations has prevented the Skyline GT-R from being distributed within our borders. But now, after years of dreaming of U.S. distribution, reality is closer than ever. In 2009, for the first time ever, Nissan is expected to enter the U.S. market with the Skyline GT-R. Expect the price tag on the GT-R to range between the $70,000-$80,000’s. Stay tuned for more information on the U.S. release of the Nissan Skyline GT-R.

Audi R8

Posted on November 29th, 2007 by admin

Probably the newest car that has caught my attention and is about to enter the U.S. market, is the new Audi R8. Other than its Lamborghini like body, the R8 also packs a 32 valve V8 engine, 6-speed manual with automated shifting and clutch and 420 horsepowers of pure power. The R8 is expected to compete with the Porsche 911 Turbo, and at a listing price forecasted to be around $110,000 (which most likely could reach up to the $120,000’s after markups), Porsche better watch out for some stiff competition. Expect to see the R8 driving around on the streets early to mid 2008.

Lowered cars and criminals?

Posted on November 18th, 2007 by admin

So the other day I got pulled over and i was driving a lowered car. The cop told me that i was swirving which is complete BS, and eventually, they made me take a whole sobriety test and eventually gave me a fix up ticket ! Its getting pretty annoying to get pulled over for stupid shit. Thats gotta be like the 10th time in my life Ive gotten pulled over driving a lowered car. My question or thought of the day is why cops see a lowered or tuned up car and automatically assume there is a thug or criminal behind the wheel? Also, shouldnt cops be doing other shit like saving peoples lives instead of giving out fix up tickets. ! God i hate cops !
